PERMANENT PRESENCE, White Box Gallery, June 1–24. 2006, New York, USA
This exhibition is result of effort which two man, Nebojsa Seric Shoba, Bosnian artist based in New York, and Sasa Toperic Bosnian pianist, president and leader of ABCF cultural foundation, puts to break barrier between Sarajevo and New York, and to make a cultural bridge between two cities. ABCF foundation in cooperation with Canton Sarajevo and White box gallery was organizers, and VD gives its best artists to participate and to be there. Just in first half of hour from the beginning of exhibition, more than 500 people visited and passed thru White box gallery.

With the work of artists from Bosnia, Herzegovina, and the United States, this exhibition will try and explore the advantages and disadvantages that both societies face in terms of access to knowledge through the usage of language and the exploration of art concepts. Here, the phrase "permanent presence" is meant to acknowledge the "current streams in contemporary art, where confusion and absence of theory are reality.
