The exhibition "My mother's tongue is Bosnian" displays work by five representatives of the artists' group Vizionarsko Drustvo ", all in Sarajevo in Bosnia-Herzegovina lives and work.
The socio-political circumstances in the work of the artists have found their way; offer the occasion to take stock of the current situation in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The title "My mother's tongue is Bosnian" expresses a new understanding of the artists. It is characterized by pride, a rebellion and the desire to be a people with their own beliefs and cultural backgrounds in a country in Europe to say, by the globalized economic and socio-political value system of the EU an ever greater role.
We are delighted that the artists personally visited will be presented on the opening, and thus the opportunity for dialogue and exchanges on a cultural basis exists on which all visitors are cordially invited.
