welcome

Leila Cmajcanin, Artist

Leila Cmajcanin was with VD from our very beginning until 2007. From Baraka project in which she took important part and was participated and helped in all events within, over our first exhibitions in Germany, to presentations and other activities of ours. Between other things, she collected materials for, designed and printed our first catalogue which we used in many purposes and circumstances. This now legendary catalogue, is printed only in five copies, and we first were using it while was applying for Istanbul Biennial 2006. However, Leila Cmajcanin did a lot of help in everything during her VD membership, and she certainly left part of her life and soul with us.

She left VD group at summer 2006, and dedicated herself to her family business, her career, and activism. We are thankful to her for everything, we wish her good luck, and we have no doubts that she will be successful in everything what she will do.
